CBD Oil dosage – How Much CBD Should You Take for Better Health?

CBD hemp oil is a hemp extract derived from the legal cannabinoid hemp variety. Hemp (industrial hemp, hemp seeds, CBD oil dosage) contains a mixture of beneficial cannabinoids, among which CBD (cannabidiol) plays the most important role in the medical world.

THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive substance in cannabis, which is only contained in the homeopathic concentration permitted by law, with a maximum of 0.3%. If you want to know more information about the correct CBD oil dosage for yourself or your loved one, please read on.

If you are seriously considering using CBD to treat your own health conditions, whether you suffer from a physical, mental or emotional illness, you should know that there is no such thing as a standard dose in CBD. This plant extract comes in many forms, from concentrates to tins, capsules, vape oil, etc., so that everyone can find the easiest way to take his or her daily CBD oil dosage.

But what is the best dose?

What you want to know most is how much CBD you should take to enjoy its benefits. Well, you need to know that each person may need a specific personalized dose, which is determined by a series of factors.

It is recommended not to take CBD based on information found on the Internet, because if you take too much or too little, it may not be suitable for your situation or cause certain effects such as dry mouth or dizziness, drowsiness or alertness.

How much CBD should you take?

How much CBD you should use is entirely up to you. Literally! We are talking about individual specific doses. This means that on the one hand, the optimal dose of CBD varies from person to person, and on the other hand depends on the purpose for which you intend to use CBD.

Personal : age, gender, genetics, metabolism, general health, etc.

Specific : Used for anxiety, sleep, depression, epilepsy or pain, etc.

From this it can be concluded that you need to find out your own dosage basis and use this as a basis to discover your specific applied dosage. It sounds more complicated than it actually is. Don’t worry, we will try our best to help you find the dose you need. But to do this, some basic knowledge must be clarified in advance.

There is no general dosage recommendation for CBD for all populations.

As mentioned earlier, none of the FDA, scientists, or CBD oil manufacturers has made general dosage recommendations.

The FDA announced the use of CBD oil dosage in hemp as a dietary supplement, but has not yet confirmed the mode of action of CBD. Therefore, there is no RDI (reference daily intake) proposed by the FDA.

However, even if the FDA announces an RDI for the daily needs of CBD, it cannot define application-specific dosages, which can also be seen in official CBD studies.

In turn, CBD oil producers must not provide medical advice on the use of CBD. If they provide dosage recommendations for specific diseases, they will indirectly make medical requirements for their CBD products, which is not permitted by law.

Even if they are allowed to provide CBD oil dosage recommendations for specific applications, they cannot respond to each customer individually. Only doctors who specialize in cannabinoids can do this.

General supplement dosage recommendations

Before proceeding to discuss the individual dosage bases and application-specific dosages, we would like to provide you with suggested CBD supplement dosages.

The dosage is neither alone nor application-specific, so it should only be considered directional.

The properties of different applications of CBD also play a role

CBD (cannabidiol) can be absorbed by the human body in many ways.

The human body can absorb and use the consumed CBD differently according to these different methods. This is called bioavailability, and it varies according to how you use CBD in your body. The actual amount of CBD that can be used by the human body depends on the bioavailability of the administration method.

Generally, there are 4 ways to administer CBD, but we do not include topical application of this dose.

These are the following:

Sublingual : By applying CBD tincture or concentrate under the tongue.

This method is most commonly used because it is also a very balanced method. It has good bioavailability. The effect also occurs quickly, and the effect lasts for a relatively long time.

Oral : Swallow CBD capsules and food. Has the worst bioavailability of all applications.

This method takes the longest time before the effect takes effect. However, it is also the method with the longest effect.

Lungs : Absorb CBD through the lungs through the vaporizer.

According to recent studies, CBD absorbed through the lungs has the highest bioavailability among the three named application methods. Again, this method works the fastest. And the action time is the shortest.

Since different usage methods can cause different amounts of CBD to enter the human body, this must also be taken into account in the dosage.

You must find your own dosage

Similarly, there is no one common dosage for everyone. The best way to find the ideal dose in your situation is “experimental”. Don’t worry, because there is absolutely no risk of overdose of CBD If the medication is pure. The side effects of excessive consumption of CBD hardly occur, and even if they occur, they are not serious.

Though, when conducting experiments, it is suggested to start with the lowest dose possible suggested for your health, weight and age, and then slowly balance or increase the dose until the best outcomes are obtained.

You will have to take particular doses of medication for some days. This way you can clearly see how a particular dose feels and results until you decide to adjust it.

Likewise, when adjusting the dose, make small changes, one step toward the ideal dose at a time.

Find your CBD dosage base

In order to find your own dose, you must first discover your dose control-line, on which CBD oil dosage has a notable effect. Since this is due to the different bioavailability of different application methods and due to specific circumstances, the effectiveness, necessary and received CBD may vary greatly.

Start slowly and continuously raise your dose of CBD

Start with a small dose eg:- 1.5 to 6 mg, 3 times per day.

Maintain this dose for 2-3 days. Slowly increase your dose to 7 to 10 mg per dose 3 times a day. Keep this dose for 2-3 days. Increase the dose to 11 to 20 mg per dose 3 times a day. Keep this dose for 2-3 days. Increase the dose to 16 to 40 mg per dose 3 times a day. Keep this dose for 2-3 days.

If you do not feel the positive effects of Cannabidiol in any of these dosage ranges, continue this cycle by increasing 5 to 10 mg.

For most persons, the effects of Cannabidiol will be obvious during these dosage cycles. But, if you are not experiencing the results of CBD in one way or another, you can and should increase the dose.

Record your progress by writing down your physique. Pay deep attention to the positive and negative things happening. Such as carelessness and relaxation, may improve certain signs such as tiredness, faintness, etc.

In this way, you can easily reach the basic CBD oil dosage. Start making the notes of the numbers you are consciously aware of the effect of CBD.

From basic dosage to dosage for specific purposes

After you find the basic dose, you can continue to adjust the dose, depending on the symptoms you want to treat with it.

Increase or decrease the dose by 5-10 mg per dose. Remember to use CBD 3 times a day. Allotment throughout the day.

The duration of sublingual administration is approximately 4-5 hours. This will allow you to cover a day in 3 dosage units. However, please keep the dose for a week before continuing to increase the dose. If you feel unwell at a certain dose, eat less (don’t wait a week without taking it).

As a general guide, we can provide you with more guidance on CBD dosage for the following different symptoms.

  • Chronic pain : 20-100 MG CBD per dose
  • Anxiety : 10-40 MG CBD per dose
  • Epilepsy : 50  – 350 MG CBD per day
  • Schizophrenia : 50 -1250 MG CBD per day
  • Multiple Sclerosis (MS): 30 – 125 MG CBD per day
  • Movement problems caused by Huntington’s disease: 50-100 MG CBD per day
  • Sleep disorders : 30 – 200 MG CBD per dose
  • Glaucoma: 20-40 MG CBD per dose (>40 MG may increase intraocular pressure)

Before buying CBD products, you should consider the required quantity

Before buying a CBD product, please make sure it contains enough CBD for your use.

In order to determine your basic dose, we recommend using at least 500 mg of CBD so that you have enough room to experiment, as long as you don’t know the required dose. If the CBD content in the CBD product is insufficient, you may never reach the dose baseline.

First of all, please pay attention to the purchased product. Because poor quality CBD products or CBD products that do not contain any CBD are counterproductive, it may not be effective and may be harmful in the long run.

How to determine the amount of CBD from drops and tinctures?

The CBD content in CBD drops and tins is usually in mg. This value refers to the total content of the dropper bottle. For example, a 10 ml bottle of CBD oil and 500 MG CBD.

Some manufacturers also specify the content of each drop of CBD in the bottle and the total content of CBD. But not everyone does this.

We will help you find out the amount of CBD in a drop of CBD cture so that you can dose it correctly.

One drop from the dropper contains approximately 0.05 ml of liquid .

If the total amount of the bottle is 10 ml, it is equivalent to about 200 drops in the bottle.

If this tincture contains 500 mg of CBD in the total of 10 ml, then every drop of wine from this bottle will contain 2.5 mg of CBD.

For example, to dose 25 MG CBD, you will need 10 drops of this particular product to reach that dose.

This is just an example of how to properly calibrate the dose using drops and tinctures. You can easily calculate it yourself now. What you need is the total amount of tincture (ML) and the total amount of CBD (MG).

Sample calculation:

Total filling volume (ML)/liquid drop (0.05 ML) = number of drops

CBD total content (MG)/drops = MG per drop

The whole thing plus the numbers:

10ml / 0.05 = 200 drops

1000 MG CBD / 200 drops = 5 MG CBD per drop

More examples of CBD content per drop of specific CBD oil:

The total content of CBD content contains the estimated drop of CBD volume per drop 10 ml 250 mg 2001, 2510 ml 500 mg 2002, 5025 ml 750 mg 5001, 5025 ml 1250 mg 5002, 5025 ml 2000 mg 5004, 0050 ml 6000 mg 10006,00.

How to determine the amount of CBD from the concentrate

CBD concentrates are usually packed in syringes and have a viscous consistency. The content is in grams or milliliters. Conversely, the CBD content is expressed in% or mg.

The advantage of CBD concentrate in the syringe is that on the syringe, the unit of measurement is given in ML. This makes it possible to dose accurately to approx. 0.1 ml. 1 ML is equivalent to 1 gram. You can find the CBD in a specific quantity (ml or grams) in the following example:

If the CBD content of the CBD concentrate is expressed in %, the total CBD content of this product must first be converted to MG:

5 grams (5 ML) and 20% CBD – 5 grams = 5000 mg

20% of 5000 mg = 1000 mg

In this example, the CBD content is 1000 mg

If you inject 0.1 ml from the syringe, it has the following CBD content, which we can find from the calculation example.

5ml / 0.1ml = 50

1000 mg / 50 = 20 mg

Therefore, a total dose of 5 grams (ml) of 0.1 ml of 20% CBD concentrate has a CBD content of 20 mg.

How to determine the amount of CBD in Vape oil

Using a vaporizer to vaporize CBD and absorb CBD through inhalation are many pleasant ways to consume CBD. But determining the dose is more complicated. Because not only must the CBD content in a certain amount of CBD vape oil be determined, but also how much CBD must be obtained from one inhalation.

To determine the amount of CBD you put in the evaporator, please follow the above agents and drops. Find out how much CBD is in a drop of vape oil. If you know the capacity of the gasification tank, you can also calculate the amount of CBD in the tank by filling it.

For example : if the tank capacity is 2 ML and Vape Oil 1500 MG CBD is 10 ML, there will be 300 MG CBD in the tank (after filling).

1500ml / 10ml = 150ml * 2ml = 300ml

Therefore, when you inject a certain amount of CBD Vape oil into the vaporizer, you can at least calculate the amount of CBD in it.

How much CBD is in one breath is another matter.

You can see how much CBD is consumed by observing the water tank. If it reaches half, you (according to the example) have consumed 150 mg of CBD. Another method is to use only one water tank per day, and then you will know. However, as time goes by, you will feel what has evaporated, and you can use the filling meter to get a rough idea of the dosage.

Some comments on the dosage of CBD capsules

No further explanation is needed for the dosage of CBD capsules and pills. The practical thing about CBD capsules is that they have a predetermined dose. Usually each capsule provides 15, 25, 50, 75 and 100 MG. Therefore, oral capsules contain a certain dose of a specific product.

Advantages of CBD capsules:

Easy to dose, tasteless.

The effect of CBD lasts the longest when taking capsules

Disadvantages of CBD capsules:

You can only increase and decrease the dose in the same increments as the amount of CBD in the capsule.

The bioavailability of CBD capsules is lower than drops, concentrates or vape oils. This means you need more CBD to get the same amount of CBD in your body.

Therefore, many CBD capsules are also provided in a relatively high amount of CBD

Even at high doses, CBD is non-toxic.

Studies have shown that high-dose CBD is non-toxic. Even at doses as high as 1500 mg CBD, no toxicity was detected. This means you have enough space to experiment to find the dose. However, please be careful and try to follow our guidelines. Because CBD is not cheap, you certainly don’t want to waste any of it.

Don’t hesitate to contact the doctor

Don’t be afraid to see a doctor and talk to him about using CBD.

However, in most cases, the doctor will know nothing and will not be able to give you any advice on dosage. Unless you are lucky enough to live in a country/state that provides medical marijuana, and some physicians are experts in using marijuana for therapeutic purposes.

However, a doctor you trust can advise you well and can monitor your health appropriately.
